Should students be able to evaluate their teachers? Why or why not?

I agree that we should ask students to evaluate their teachers. That way, the teachers know if they need to improve their teaching style, or anything else. If the teacher is downright mean and angry all the time, it's a good idea to tell your teacher that. Maybe it was miscommunication, so you can work it out with the teacher. If the teacher is really good, and she or he might get pinkslipped, the principal can reconsider with really good evaluations. Evaluations shouldn't require names, because that way you can feel safe to reveal your thoughts on the teacher.

Evaluations are a really good idea, because the teacher can also figure out what she or he has to work on. Whether it's the teaching style, or the content. Maybe she or he isn't making the class entertaining. Maybe she or he isn't being nice. Maybe she or he needs to be more fun. All those questions can be answered with a single evaluation!
